Live-in carers we’d welcome into our own parents’ homes

Homestay Carers introduces families to experienced, vetted live-in carers. We work across the Home Counties, our team includes former carers and families who use live-in care themselves. We’re here to help your loved one stay at home, comfortable and independent, for as long as possible.

  • The right live-in carer can become one of the most important people in your life
  • Our team includes former carers, current care clients and hands-on founders
  • Focused on continuity, consistency and familiar faces, not just introductions
  • Personal support and guidance without the cost of a managed care agency

Why families choose Homestay Carers

An older woman and her daughter meet a carer and find the right match.

Care that fits your family

We listen to what matters at home, then introduce experienced carers whose skills and approach suit your family.

Your home, your routine

Stay among your own familiar rooms, garden, pets and neighbours. You choose your carers and agree the day-to-day directly with them.

The Homestay team works together to support families.

Carers you can trust

Every carer is carefully vetted and interviewed before you meet them. You decide who feels right for your home.

Focused on continuity, consistency and familiar faces, not just introductions

The best care relationships grow stronger over time. That’s why we stay in touch after a placement begins, and we’re here whenever you’d like a new introduction.

What families and carers say

How does a live-in care introduction work?

1. Talk it through

A call or in-person chat about the carer that's needed and the environment they'll work in.

2. Meet carers

We introduce carers matched to your family needs. You talk to them and us at length before making a decision.

3. You choose

You pick the carer(s) that feel right.

4. Welcome them home

Your carer moves in, and you agree the day-to-day directly with them.

How it works
We don't take on every family. If we don't think we can find the right carers for your needs, we'll tell you honestly at the start. And you'll have one named contact throughout: no call centre, and no being passed between teams.

Families pay from £1,095 a week, total

Couples from £1,445 a week if you both need care, or £1,260 if only one of you does.

No entry or exit fee, and two weeks’ notice if you need to stop. One weekly price, with no hidden fees. Bank holidays and Christmas days are charged at 15% extra.

An introductory agency, by design

We're not CQC-registered and we don't manage care, so you stay in control and you don’t pay extra for off-site care managers or 24-hour call centres. You choose your carers and agree the care directly with them. We introduce carers rather than provide care.
